Curious George Cake

I very excited to get to create Curious George for my friend's son!  I wanted to so something simple but fun and I'm very happy with how he turned out.  Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to wait for the cake to "dry" before I took pictures.  He was a chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream frosting and covered in my homemade marshmallow fondant.

Lego Star Wars cup cakes

For my friend's 8 years old boy's birthday, I made 2 dozen cup cakes with Lego Star Wars characters on them.  The figurines are made of my homemade fondant.  They were super fun to make!

Gift Box Wedding Shower Cake

I made this cake for a wedding shower.  Her theme for the wedding is black and white damask with red ascents.  I wanted the cake to resemble two stacked presents.  Both cakes are covered in my homemade marshmallow fondant.  The flowers are made of gum paste as well the ribbon.  I was thrilled at how it turned out! (I can't take credit for the cute cupcakes.  A friend made those for the occasion.)

Lego Cake

This cake was for a friend of mine son's birthday.  The Lego's and cake board are covered in my homemade marshmallow fondant.  The Lego men were supplied by the client.

All the boys at the party loved the cake!

My Little Pony Castle Cake

My daughter asked for a castle cake for her birthday.  I wanted to surprise her by adding a few of her favorite characters.  The My Little Ponies are made of homemade modeling chocolate.

The cake is covered in my homemade marshmallow fondant.  The 4 is made of modeling chocolate.

I love using the edible sprinkles in flowers.

Fluttershy was my first attempt at a pony.  I really love working with modeling chocolate!

This is Twilight Sparkle.  I was very happy with how she turned out and very excited that she could stand up!

My daughter loved the cake so I was very thrilled!

Argyle Baby Boy Cake

A friend of mine requested my chocolate cake with peanut butter icing and Reese's in between the layers.  I wanted to make something special for her when she came home from having her little boy.

I was inspired by a beautiful boy nursery with an argyle accent wall.  The stitching is hand painted with food coloring.

The cake is covered in my homemade marshmallow fondant.

Shaun the Sheep Birthday Cake

This was a birthday cake for my 2 year old.  Shaun was my first attempt at sculpting.  He is made of modeling chocolate.  The cake is covered in my homemade marshmallow fondant.

The 3 pigs are made of fondant.

Wanted to appear as if Shaun dove to catch the balloon from flying into the air.  Would have like to use something thinner for the string, but the wooden dowel rod was a last minute fix.

Overall I loved it!
